hi there would like to know what fellow summonners think is best for 6 link zombies (DPS wise) , added fire dmg or added minion dmg both 20/20. Other supports are multistrike, added melee phys dmg and faster attacks and empower:) thanks guys! | Posted by on Nov 1, 2014, 4:58:57 PM |
Do you run Auras like Hatred/Anger/Wrath? I think those are affected by Minion Damage gem, making it better. | Posted by on Nov 1, 2014, 7:46:07 PM |
pretty sure added fire is better if you already have a lot of minion nodes since it's a multiplier. if you have no +% minion damage then the minion damage gem is better | Posted by on Nov 2, 2014, 1:44:14 AM |
Let's say: A = sum of your increased damage from tree, gear and gems, excluding minion damage. B = your minion damage gem %, 92 at lvl 20/20 C = your added fire %; 39 at lvl 20 if 100 * (B / A) < C, then added fire is better. We should also include the quality bonus from added fire but this complicates calculation. The above estimation should be quite accurate. And as CantripN says, if you use damage auras, chances are Minion damage will be better. Ranger builds list: /917964 When two witches watch two watches, which witch watches which watch? If the witches watching watches watch the same watch while you watch which witch watches which watch, they switch watches; then, the watch switching witches watch which watch you watch. Watching witches watch watches is not for the faint of heart.. | Posted by Panini_aux_olives on Nov 2, 2014, 4:35:02 PM |
' quote from ghazzy: 'Minion damage IS better than Added fire, However, since we need a gem to swap for melee splash, we need a red gem, and thus Added fire fits better' In short, gem priority: On the 4link: SRS - Spell echo - Multistrike - Melee splash (which melee phys on switch for bosses) on the 5link: SRS - Spell echo - Multistrike - Melee physical - Melee splash (with Added fire on switchout) on the 6link: SRS - Spell echo - Multistrike - Melee physical - Melee splash (with added fire on switch) - Empower (lvl 3 Only i believe) or minion damage. For zombies, just swap Spell echo for faster attacks. Cleric Channel Energy Pathfinder
Channeling feats require the Channel Energy class feature. Feat Descriptions. Channeling Feats are summarized on the table below. Note that the prerequisites and benefits of the feats on this table are abbreviated for ease of reference. Channel Energy (Su): Channel energy is a mediocre ability, and is rightly ignored by many builds. At best it is a splash of damage against undead, and at worst it's a mediocre mass-healing ability for your party. That said, with some focus it can become a useful asset. For help with Channel Energy, see my Practical Guide to Channel Energy. Note that in the higher levels this will rely very much on your scenario, so this might not be the best build. This is merely suggestions to get the best utility, but if your entire campaign takes place in hell, or on the plane of fire clearly you should take the relevant feats for that instead. As the title says, I'm thinking of building a Character for a game I'll be playing in soon. Dmg mori dmu50 5 axis vertical machining centre. I've been thinking of making a Channel based build, seeing as I love the fluff behind the ability. My questions are, how should I do it? Cold dmg reload speed mod free. A Dwarven Cleric? An Aasimar Oracle? Should I take Selective Channel, and other related feats?
